원래 나의 다양한 식감과 맛엔 새우같은 식감이 존재했어. 새우 경험한 맛과 식감을 나로 경험하지 못한다며 아쉬워하는 사람들을 보았어. 그래서 새우를 먼저 경험한 그들에게 나로도 그 경험할 할수 있게 해줬어.
그런데 그 소통을 위한 표현이 나를 '가짜'로 만들어 버렸어. 갑자기 나는 사람들을 속이는 껍데기가 되어버렸어. 나 그 자체의 가치와 핵심은 잊혀졌어.
가짜 새우라는 표현 자체에 대한 고찰해봤어 - 진짜 우월주의, 거짓은 참에 위배되는 것.
진짜 가짜의 기준은 누구가 정할까
그 판정의 권리는 누구에게 있을까
무엇이 진실인지는 한 사회의 권력 투쟁 속에서 구조돼
그 기준을 먹는자가 아니라 나 그 자체로 해줘
그럼 내 본연의 맛은 진짜가 될거야
The texture of shrimp was originally a part of my diverse palette for food. I witnessed people who were disappointed, thinking that they could not experience shrimps through me. So I let them have that experience.
It was a channel for communication between me and those with prior experience with shrimps.
But the expression for that communication made me 'fake'. All of a sudden, I had become a well-disguised nothing that deceives people. The core values that constituted me were neglected and forgotten.
I contemplated on the expression 'fake shrimps' - Real elitism, fake is something that violates truth.
Who made the standard of truth and lie, and why. Who has the right to determine what is truth and what is a lie. Truth must be what is salvaged from a society's conflict for power. Base the standard of real not on those that eat, but on me. Then my intrinsic taste will be real.
